Site Guide

This website “character-and-ethics.com” was created in June 2025, adding to five legacy websites. It is for more recent writing and ideas outside the remit of the other sites.

Much of my writing aims to say things which are original or which have been neglected, even forgotten. That is, not to re-iterate what most, whether in the alternative or the mainstream scene, are saying. Or if it does so, the express things more incisively, or with wit, or more aesthetically.

Writings may be copied but the source and copyright should be acknowledged.

“character-and-ethics.com” joins five long-standing websites which are aimed at different readerships. These are:

The oldest of these sites, www.thinking-for-clarity.com, has an English and a shorter German section. It deals in depth with personal ethics and the nature of personal love, which are also the topics of the German section. It also addresses some traditional themes of philosophy such as epistemology and the essence of religion.
www.fuzzydemocracy.com proposes a radical reshaping of political representation such as has only become feasible in the 21st century. It explains how we no longer need political parties. There are different descriptions of the basic ideas. some short, others longer, in different styles such that there is something for every taste and level. Doing so, it also argues for changes in the way democracy is understood and against misconceptions of democracy. It is in English and German (the texts are not translations or equivalent, but separately written for the two cultures). There is also a French section, which describes “fuzzy democracy” only briefly and is otherwise used to publicise information and reflections which are largely absent from mainstay French thought.
www.klasseverantwortung.com was originally conceived to accompany a printed book published in German in 2015. Parts of the content of the German book, those on personal ethics, have been transferred to https://www.thinking-for-clarity.com/deutsch/ueberblick.html while those dealing with Fuzzy Democracy are now at https://www.fuzzydemocracy.com/fzygerman/Wegweiser.html. There is an English section: https://www.klasseverantwortung.com/english/en_main.html, describing and expanding on the core ideas of the book. These are that and how judgement & character need to be developed and monitored for those entering and climbing the professions.
A further section there, https://www.klasseverantwortung.com/endtimes/endtimes_main.html contains miscellanous writings in response to the global coup d’état of 2020.
www.contra-dnwe.com has two sections, one German and a shorter English one. It recounts how “business ethics” was infiltrated and undermined in Germany. It also sketches and discusses what authentic business ethics would look like. Now, following the unmasking of 2020, it is largely historical, i.e. for the record, with some names named.
https://www.contra-dnwe.com/since2020/since2020_main.html is an archive of my earliest writing on the putsch from 2020 onward.
Finally, www.language-for-clarity.com, with German, English and French sections, was my professional (i.e. income-generating) site in the days when I still translated. Large Language Models (LLM) have meanwhile transformed, not for the better, the market as well as the work and skills involved. This site contains constructive ideas and criticisms which the “professional” bodies chose to ignore. It is now largely historical, i.e. for the record.
